Concerts and Piano Teaching

Having studied with very eminent musicians, including Lazar Berman, Dmitri Paperno, Carlo Zecchi, Renzo Silvestri, Alfredo De Ninno, Elena Goldenweiser, Angus Morrison, David Parkhouse, Gui Mombaerts, and his parents, Vladimir and Kapitolina Takenouchi, who had studied with Leo Sirota and Emil Sauer, Aleksei Takenouchi has experience and knowledge to share.

Private teaching is available. Among his current students is Marc Yu who has played with Lang Lang at Royal Albert Hall, London, and at Carnegie Hall, New York.

Repertoire from Bach to contemporary music. Aleksei Takenouchi has premiered various modern works, including works by Richard Wilson, Jacques Charpentier, Einojohanni Rautavaara, Toshi Ichiyanagi, and Shigetami Yamaji. Aleksei has given concerts in such prestgious halls as: Suntory Hall, Concertgebouw Recital Hall, Brahms Saal, Malii Hall St. Petersburg.
